Read the passage carefully and answer the questions following it (1-3)

The plane landed at Suvaranabhumi Airport at 4:55 p.m. The name `Suvarabhumi.’ is pronounced as `Su-wan-na-poom’. The name is derived from sanskit, Which means golden land. The name was chosen by King Bhumibol Adulyadie.

The airport is located in Racha Thewa in the Bang Phli district of =Samut Prakan Province. 30 Kilometers east of Bankok.

The airport has two paralled runways. Both of them are 60 metre wide. One of the runways is 4000 meter long and the other is 3.700 meters. It can handle 76 flight operations per hour. It can handle 45 million passengers and 3 million tonnes of cargo per year.

The airport passaenger terminal is 563.000 square meter that is 6.060,00 square feet. It is the fourth biggest passenger terminal building in the word. The airport is going through phase 2. It will raise the airports capacity to bandle 65 million passengers per your. The airport has two 5 story car park buildings. The buildings can house 5000 cars. (Unit-1, Lesson-7)

অনুবাদ : বিকালে চারটা পঞ্চান্ন মিনিটে বিমানটি সুবর্ণভূমি বিমানবন্দরে অবতরণ করল। ‘সুবর্ণভূমি’ নামটি সু-ওয়ান না-পুম উচ্চারণ করা হয়। নামটি এসেছে সংস্কৃত থেকে যার অর্থ হল স্বর্ণ ভূমি। নামটি রাজা ভূমিবোল অদুলজাদি কর্তৃক পছন্দ করা হয়েছিল। ব্যাংককের ত্রিশ কিলোমিটার পূর্বে সামুট প্রাকান  প্রদেশের বাংফ্লি জেলার রাচা থিওয়ায় বিমানবন্দরটি অবস্থিত।

বিমানবন্দরটিতে দুটি সামন্তরিক ধাবমান ভূমি রয়েছে। তাদের উভয়টি ষাট মিটার প্রশস্ত। ধাবমানভূমির একটি চার হাজার মিটার  দীর্ঘ এবং অন্যটি তিন হাজার সাতশ মিটার। এটা প্রতি ঘন্টায় ছিয়াত্তরটি বিমান উড্ডয়ন নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পারে। এটা প্রতি বছর পঁয়তাল্লিশ মিলিয়ন যাত্রী এবং তিন মিলিয়ন টন মাল নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পারে।

বিমানবন্দরটির যাত্রী টার্মিনালটি পাঁচ শত তেষট্টি হাজার বর্গ মিটার অর্থাৎ ষাট লক্ষ ষাট হাজার বর্গ ফিট। এটা বিশ্বের চতুর্থ বৃহত্তম যাত্রী টার্মিনাল ভবন। বিমানবন্দরটির ২য় পর্যায়ের কাজ হচ্ছে। এটা প্রতি বছর পঁয়ষট্টি মিলিয়ন যাত্রী নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে বিমানবন্দরটির ক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধি করবে। বিমানবন্দরটির দুটি পাঁচতলা গাড়ি- পার্ক ভবন আছে। ভবনগুলিতে পাঁচ হাজার গাড়ি ধরে।

Cars

Kari Benz invented the modern car in 1888 in Germany. Emile Roger worked for Benz in France. He made cars in France. By 1900,  Many people were building cars in France and in the U.S. The first company to build only cars was Panhard et Levassor in France, Pan hard started in 1889. The Peugeot car company started in 1891 in France. In the US Frank and Charles Duryea started the Duryea Motor Wagon Company in 1893. It was the first US car company. By 1902, Ransom E. Olds started the Olds Motor Vehicle Company. A year later, Henry Ford started the Ford Motor Company. It produced the Cadillac. All these early modern cars burnjed gasoline or diesel fuel. Ford opened Factories in France and Britain in 1911. Then they opened a factory in Denmark in 1923. Later they opened a factory in Germany in 1925. Ford was one of the first manufacturers to use an assembly line. With an assembly line. Factory workers could gasoline or diesel fuel. These cars cause air pollution. They get the air dirty. Now many people are looking for cleaner cars. And many car companies are looking for cleaner fuels.
