A coach of Dhaka-bound Jamuna Express train derailed in the city's Karwan Bazar area on Wednesday morning, reports BSS.
The coach of the train travelling from Jamalpur to Dhaka skidded off the track at 8:30am, officer-in-charge of Dhaka Railway Police Station told the media.
There was no immediate report about casualties.Other trains of the route are currently running on a single track, the police official said.
