The workers of Keya Knit Composite Limited in Konabari in Jarun area of Gazipur blocked a road earlier Monday demanding salary and Eid bonus,.

Sumon Mia, administrative officer of the factory, said the workers are owed salary for the month of February.

KM Ashraf Uddin, officer-in-charge of Konabari Police Station, confirmed the matter. 

Police went to the spot and asked them to move away from the road. After talks with the workers, they were taken to the factory, and the situation is normal now, the OC said.
