Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a man along with 16 gold bars, weighing 1.8Kg, from the Benapole border in Jashore on Wednesday.
The arrestee is Jony, 40, son of Mizanur Rahman of Chotoachra village under Benapole Port Police Station, reports Daily Sun.
The members of BGB 21 Goga Camp arrested him at 9:00 am from the border area.Jony was handed over to Sharsha Police Station, BGB said.
