The US ambassador to Bangladesh, Peter Haas, returned to Dhaka after ending his vacation in Colombo.
He reached the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:30 pm on Monday.
However, he didn’t respond to any question of the journalists after landing from the flight.Earlier, he left Colombo for Dhaka on a Sri Lankan Airlines flight at 7:50 am.
In current tensed political situation of Bangladesh, Peter Haas was trying to arrange dialogue between the parties. But in the meantime, various discussions started about his going to vacation.
Peter Haas left Dhaka for Colombo on November 16.
