Jatiya Party (Ershad) has announced the names of its candidates for 287 constituencies out of 300 for the 12th parliamentary elections.
Party’s secretary general Mujibul Haque Chunnu announced the names in a press conference at the party chairman’s Banani office on Monday evening.
Chunnu also sought votes for the party nominated candidates who will vie for the election with party’s election symbol “plough”He said the party will later announce names of candidates for rest of 13 seats.
Of the candidates, the party chairman GM Quader will contest from Rangpur-3 and Dhaka-17 and his wife Sherifa Quader will contest from Dhaka-18.
