Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury on Wednesday paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of the historic Language Movement on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day.

She paid the homage by placing wreaths at the Central Shaheed Minar after zero hour last night.

Deputy Speaker Md Shamsul Haque Tuku also paid homage to the martyrs of the historic Language Movement there.
