The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) on Saturday has announced a 7-day holiday in all public, private schools and colleges in view of the ongoing heatwave and the warning issued by the Meteorological Department.
All public and private educational institutions under the DSHE will open as usual on Sunday, April 28, instead of Sunday after the scheduled vacation.
Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury said that government primary schools, Shishu Kalyan Trust schools and non-formal education bureau learning centers will remain closed during this time.Bd-pratidin English/Tanvir Raihan
