Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will lead the Bangladesh team in the next T20 World Cup, Asia Cup and New Zealand series.

Chairman of the Cricket Operations Committee of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Jalal Yunus confirmed the media on Saturday.

Earlier in 2009 and 2017, Shakib was made the skipper of the T20 team.

Bangladesh won seven matches out of 21 T20 international games played under the leadership of the all-rounder.
